Who I am

I have worked in the financial services field as an insurance professional for more than 25 years, providing viable solutions through life insurance, long term care, Medicare supplements, cancer products and with fixed indexed annuities. These tools provide some of the best solutions for 401k and IRA rollovers and guaranteed security through retirement.

I work with integrity following the information publishing business where integrity was essential to building trust in a day when truth had to be verified.

With today’s volatility in the stock market and the need for more income in even longer retirement periods, the second generation fixed indexed annuity products work well to provide security in a very insecure world with the promise of guaranteed income the goal for those concerned about the money running out in their lifetime.

I recently buried my 98–year-old father who lived with me in his declining years, serving as the trustee of his estate and distributing assets held in fixed indexed annuities. The transition to his family was swift and sure.

 I am licensed life and health agent by the State of Aizona having held those same licenses in Oregon and California in recent years. I recently lost my wife of nearly 50 years and have two children, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. My new bride, Joanne lives with me in Yuma AZ where I have made my home for the past 10 years, coming from Oregon to be with my father in his old age. I now work from a well equipped office in my home in the Yuma Foothills from which I serve my clients all along the Colorado River -- faithfully as friends.

I use the business name Strycker and Associates because of the professionals I work with thoughout the financial services industry to bring you the best information and support. We talk with people about "strategies" for retirement -- but the only real strategy is yours. The more you can describe what you want, the better I am able to help you increase your retirement secuirty around the most popular solutions in the insurance industry. That will help distinguish what I do from the typical investment firm where mandates come from above in the corporate hierarchy, or even worse, from somewhere else altogether.

Yes, this is me and my first great grandkid Harper. And now, there is another great grandson with the addition of Finn who gives Harper a run for his money. How precious they are.
